Caliber Reaches Five Year Milestone
North Wales, PA, Thursday, March 10, 2011 - Caliber was launched in January, 2006, with the goal of providing high quality equipment inspection services to the Transportation Industry. Caliber’s services include equipment readiness inspections, on-hire and off-hire surveys, roadability compliance “blitz” audits, and even turn-key M&R management programs. In addition, Caliber provides M&R cost control services, which can include field repair audits, as well as billing review and subrogation services. Finally, Caliber’s offerings include its own patent pending inspection software called Spection™. Spection is a Web-based and mobile device application that is built for use on the latest ruggedized hardware. John Gunder, President of Caliber, said “our clients can purchase Spection as a ‘Software as a Service’ product for use by their field staff, or Caliber can bundle Spection with a field inspection service to be performed by Caliber’s trained and experienced inspectors.” In 2010, Caliber processed 76,000 equipment inspections into its Spection system, with Caliber field staff performing over 60,000 of those inspections.
As Caliber enters its sixth year in business, they believe they are properly positioned for future growth.
