Caliber Information Systems

In this service, Caliber charges a per-inspection rate to digitally inspect equipment and feed the equipment owner’s database. Our customers have found the front end user functions very valuable in arenas such as equipment audits, inspections, on and off-hire surveys. The ability for our customers to see in real-time what is happening in the field is fantastic.

In this service, Caliber assumes budget responsibility and provides full management of customer equipment maintenance (e.g. chassis, container, trailer, etc.).  Caliber’s agreement with our clients is structured on a fixed charge/chassis/day and Caliber assumes financial risk, should the maintenance and administrative costs be higher than revenues.  This type of incentive-based offering is gaining momentum and acceptance in the Intermodal segment. Moreover, our customers gain the benefit of Federal and Industry compliance through Caliber programs. With current governmental pressures at their highest levels, compliance is imperative.
